Making an Appointment

Thank you for considering the University of Virginia’s Thoracic Cardiovascular Surgery Division for your medical care. We know that you have choices and we strive to make your experience at UVA one that will meet your individual needs and provide you with outstanding quality of care. We try to make appointments as quickly as possible with the urgency of the patients’ condition considered. We will ask for copies of medical records from other care providers so that we have a clear understanding of your medical condition and avoid duplication of previously conducted tests. The more informed we are when you arrive, the better we will be able to provide the care you need.

To make an appointment, you may call the Thoracic Cardiovascular Surgery Division directly at 434.243.6828 or toll free at 1.800.450.6828.

You may also contact UVA’s patient referral line at 434.924.DOCS (3637) or toll free at 1.800.251.3627.
